Hawaii One Dollar Silver Certificate 1935

This is a rare One Dollar Silver Certificate that was issued in 1935.   Because of the war in the Pacific there was a fear that Japan would overrun Hawaii.  In order to protect the Amercian Currency - notes for use in Hawaii were stamped Hawaii on front and back.  Small nicks and rough edges and crease marks on this bill but other wise in good condition. Offered by Vendor #10, Located in Display Case 10D.
